Hi. I've been using the nickname "rofl" for several years now, and I have been playing on your server as well while using this nickname. But today [IG]Abe decided that this was an improper nickname and banned me for using it. I am not sure if he is just having a bad day, since I know i have been playing lots of games with him online as well in the past, but today he decided that this nickname was "improper". It is only a temporary ban, but I really think you should reconsider when and why you ban people if you want people to keep playing on your server.

"rofl" is an abbreviation of "rolling on floor laughing", so not a nickname. In recent weeks we have been kicking down on these improper nicks which many people use: "rofl" "lmao" etc. because of this reason. Please uphold this by using a proper nickname.
And yes, you've been online earlier with this nick, and been allowed, but now a days we'll not allow such nicks.
This topic is something we'll take up on our next meeting in a couple of weeks. The reason I, and many others, don't like these kinds of nicknames, is that they are not your own, but many can use this same one. And we want to "know" people when they are in our server. By people using these kinds of nicknames, we won't be able to do so.
