Hi! I was banned from your server (address: 84.217.28.19:27015) at approximately 15:28 (3:28 PM UTC/GMT+1) on the 27th of September, 2018 under the reason "cheater". This is a false accusation and I would like for you to kindly revoke this ban.
I've been a loyal patron of your excellent servers for a number of years and have never been accused of cheating prior to this incident. If I am not fully mistaken, the admin responsible for my ban was [IG] La Onda, and I believe he came to his conclusion as a result of the following incidents: - I displayed abnormal and unconventional behaviour (I generally only say "ok" or "g" in-game) - I was playing fairly well (landed a couple of good headshots here and there) - I threw a flashbang at an enemy I couldn't have seen or heard (by pure random chance) - I knew the location of the last terrorist (due to high volume in my headphones and logic [I was guarding the bomb and knew he would come to me])
The abovementioned reasons are the only factors that could've resulted in this ban, and I personally consider this insufficient proof. I have no intention of ever cheating in this game—not now, nor in the foreseeable future.
I have no demo of this incident, because I don't record anything while playing in public servers. I can only speak to my integrity as an ethical person and refer to my squeaky clean past as a player who has never received bans for cheating. I hope this mistake can be reversed, and I hold no antipathies towards the administration for this occurrence. Mistakes do happen. My nickname in Counter-Strike 1.6 is corpse. My Steam account is in good standing and I have 0 VAC-bans under my belt. I've played Counter-Strike 1.6 on and off since the game was launched (although my old account was stolen). It may be noteworthy that I have been banned from your server once before for no clear reason. Back then the admin who banned me was [IG] LedarN who had a personal feud with me and the ban had nothing to do with cheating. He disliked my behaviour and saw fit to deny my access to the server and I didn't complain about his decision—gladly this ban was abolished later on despite my lack of complaints or any further communication.
Below is the AMXBans ban message (with my IP address expunged).

[AMXBans] Du har blitt bannlyst fra denne Serveren!
[AMXBans] Du kan klage om din ban @ www.InsaneGaming.se

In conclusion: I was banned for cheating which I am innocent of, and hope I can be unbanned. If my behaviour had something to do with it, I can change that as well if you think it's problematic.
I have nothing but love and respect for you guys for running pretty much the last great CS 1.6 server in Northern Europe, and I'd never jeopardize my ability to partake in the fun. In the words of Richard Nixon: I am not a crook!
I hope this message is enough. Many of you guys are familiar with me and know I've never cheated in your servers. I'm an average player with a penchant for absurdist humor and abstract performance art, so I may be weird, but I'd vow on my corpse I'd never bother to cheat.
Winter is coming...
Best regards,
corpse of Finland

sweet bro thx
Hello, u are unbannad now.
Thank you for your feedback. We have the administrator who has banned responsibility for that ban. then he should come back shortly. will wait until monday. If he does not return, I will look at it.
Hello! Any updates yet? I haven't played in a couple of days and I'm anxious to return to the battlefields! :-)
And I know there's a certain process that each case has to go through, but in the case of unwarranted or erroneous bans that process should somehow be expediated or streamlined further in order to mitigate some of the caused damages. Below are some suggestions that may increase user-friendliness in other cases similar to this.
1. Add a timeline or an estimate for the process's duration Any timeline, however arbitrary, will give structure and coherence to the analytic process itself. Furthermore, an estimate for the date or time of resolution will save the user the trouble of revisiting the forums multiple times to check for replies. Even if a definite date cannot be predetermined, you can define a minimum/maximum time span for the process itself (e.g. "Your case will be resolved in 2-4 days").
2. Assign specific admins as demo analyzers
I've been a member and was an administrator of Xtreme-Jumps.eu (a CS 1.6 climbing community) for a number of years. They have a rigorous system for analyzing demos as the entire community revolves around recording demos, and they've designated specific people with expertise in the Half-Life engine and in demo analyzing software as demo administrators. This systematic approach helps to ensure quality. I'm certain you have specific people in charge of demo analytics, but perhaps this division could also be streamlined further and if no analytical software is being used, perhaps they could also be utilized. (FPS Death, Demolyzer etc.) 3. Using English in the AMXMODX messages
Many foreigners visit your servers, but the message regarding complaints about bans is only displayed in Swedish (Du kan klage om din ban). I was able to understand it, but not everyone is. Solving potentially unjustified bans should be among the top priorities regarding customer service, because every mistake is a tragedy and a lost customer may also take his friends away with him.
Lastly, while I was browsing the forums to see if this case had been resolved yet I noticed you've posted clips from the HLTV demos in several ban repeal requests/cases. If it isn't a terrible inconvenience to you, could you perhaps share the suspicious clips regarding my case here as well? I'm interested to see how I was playing when I got banned and to analyze my movement patterns, reaction time and other various aspects of my performance that day. I'd like to determine if I would deem myself as a suspicious player as well. :-) Yours truly, corpse
Thank you for your response. Let's hope it gets resolved! ok, corpse
Hello yes it was La Onda who banned you, he will answer you as soon as he gets time. We use HLTV so we will check it out. hope you can have some patience.
Sincerely, Lasse Kongo
