Want to play Dust2?

"Of course" is the normal answer, but do we really need 6 other forms of that map?

When I make this list, and you read the map-names, it's a lot to take in. In my opinion and a lot others I've seen in my time playing on this server, there's too much of dust2.

In the link I provided is the statistic of every map we have ever played on our beautiful and popular server. This clearly shows the love for regular dust2, but also all the other popular maps. And you start to wonder, do we really play these regular maps that often? Unfortunately we do. 30 days and 15 hours of playing de_dust2 since we changed host, a huge number.

The next dust2 map isn't nearly as much played, but 7 hours and 46 minutes is a lot if you think about it. Luckily for me, as a non-dust2 fan, the de_duzt2 map got removed cause it was to similar to the original, which I and many others are eternally grateful for.

Shall we proceed with doing just that? Not long ago the map called de_dust2_x got added, and it has a Resident Evil layout, with that awful girl saying that awful line from the movie franchise: "You're all going to die down here." You also get lots of signs on the walls around the map. <<Yeeey>>

Other than this, the maps are alike. I recon it's a nice addition when the Halloween weekend is afoot, but not anymore when it's Christmas and so on.

But these are my opinions, what are yours?

You want us to remove the maps that are almost the same as the originals, or mostly all of them perhaps? Or maybe add more of de_dust2 maps and remove some of the less popular ones, making the server an all-popular-maps-server?
